Day 1 of Garage sale hunting
Well today I had 30+ garage sales programmed into my TomTom as we headed out to the City of Centerville community sales . The day started out nicely with a Logitech Dinovo wireless desktop
I am very impressed with this, it only cost me $5.00 bucks and even came with fresh batteries. Retail of these things are $120.00 to $140.00 from what I found on the internet. I also purchased a Miller airbrush system with all accessories for $5. A lady gave me a practically brand new in the box complete 14″ RCA TV with remote, It even works great…Nice
The same lady even gave me a Thyroid model display from a Doctor or a drug rep, kinda funny and weird.
The rain started to pour just as we were heating up this morning, going from one sale to another. We got rained out after about 15 sales.
I was getting frustrated though, the area we were in was very upscale and rich. It seams to me that some of these people just drag any old thing they used the day before and decide to sell it that day for exactly what they paid for it, just to go upgrade the same product. I don’t know….maybe I am being harsh. I understand people wanting to have garage sales and make some money, but to offer simple light switch covers, like one sale had for $4.00 a piece, I thought are you kidding me!!!
